While the pillars of our society stand tall ornate and beautiful wrapped in culture and tradition, they hide behind them years of oppression and unjust treatment towards it women. While we worship goddess and project an inclusive view, we are not even able to offer our women her basic rights. What richness does such a culture bring?
Its time to tear down the cultural blanket of excuses and start listening to the voices of the women that have been hiding behind the walls of your homes, the 9 yards of her sari, and head covered ghungats for centuries.
